What is Build-to-Rent?

Build-to-Rent means homes designed especially for renting, not for sale. At New Vic, that means professionally managed apartments, stylish furnishings and finishes, amazing onsite amenities and a programme of community events just for residents.

Where are you located?

New Vic is located in the heart of Manchester city centre.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, we accept pets as long as they meet our pet policy. The policy will be provided on request from our leasing team.

How do I book a viewing?

You can choose a virtual or in-person tour. Contact our leasing team via the enquiry form on our website or get in touch directly.

Can I choose which apartment I live in?

Absolutely! You can pick the apartment that works best for you. We offer a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

How do I reserve an apartment?

Choose your apartment, complete the application form, provide your ID, and pay a holding deposit equal to one week’s rent.

Will I qualify to rent?

You’ll need to earn 30x the monthly rent before tax. Students are welcome with a UK guarantor or advance payment. Everyone 18+ must provide Right to Rent documents.

What documents will I need?

Completed application form, valid photo ID (passport or driver’s licence), and proof of address dated within the last three months.

Do I have to pay extra to use the gym?

No, the gym is free for all residents along with regular fitness classes.

Will my apartment be furnished?

You can choose between furnished and unfurnished options.

Do I arrange and pay my own utility bills?

Yes. You’ll pay water, electricity and council tax directly. We’ll guide you on setting everything up.

What internet options do you offer?

Superfast broadband up to 250 Mbps for £25/month with an upgrade to 1 Gbps available at additional cost.

Can I store my bike?

Yes, we provide secure free bike storage with controlled access.

Do you accept parcels?

Yes, we have a secure parcel room and you’ll be notified when deliveries arrive.

Will there be community events?

Yes — from breakfast clubs to pizza nights and yoga, there’s always something on. Book via the resident app.

Can I smoke or vape in my apartment?

No, smoking and vaping aren’t permitted inside apartments or communal areas.

How long will my tenancy be?

The minimum is 12 months. Longer tenancies are available — speak to the leasing team.

What are the sustainable benefits of living here?

Energy-efficient apartments (EPC rating B), access to green spaces, and excellent transport links.
